I was so psyched to see so many of you who attended the 20th year reunion.  We've all changed but somehow we all knew how to connect with each other after all these years.  Everybody looks great.  Off I went UC Irvine for undergrad study and the beach.  After UC Irvine, I attended Michigan State University- College of Osteopathic Medicine.  I am a family physician and operate my own clinic/office.  I specialize in medical home visits.  Hope we can stay in touch more easily through this great web site.  Thank you Meredith and the entire reunion committee.  See you all...at the 25th reunion...egads...keep in touch everyone! Speech-Language Pathologist/English Teacher Married 2012-08-06 12:33:17
We had our first child, a baby girl, on December 16th, 2009. Her name is Mikayla Eimi. She's our princess and treasure from God.

Look me up on Facebook. Name - Stephen Su

Hi, everyone! 20th reunion, WOW! Has it been that long? I didn't make it to the 10th reunion. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to this one either, as I am currently living in Japan. Anyway, after high school, I got my degree in business administration. I didn't do anything with it, and came to Japan as a missionary teaching English. Then, I went back to California and got my masters in speech-language pathology. I worked for about 6 years in that and decided to come back to Japan a second time. This time, I joined the Japan Exchange Teaching program, popularly known as the JET program. After 2 years of that, I opened my own English school in the Kobe area. I also run a small speech clinic, helping children that go to international schools in the area. Last year, I got married to a beautiful Japanese lady. We don't have any children, yet. I wish I could be there with all of you for the union. Hope you all have a good time renewing friendships and making new ones. Sincerely, Stephen Su

Hello RHS! I guess dad was right: time marches on! In between travels and college, I've lived within a two-hour radius and have settled in the Los Angeles area with my husband, Dan, and 3-year-old son, Alex. After working as a reporter for Women's Wear Daily for a few years, covering the business of the apparel and fashion industry, I decided to stay home with Alex ( a good decision on most days) and freelance in between the mayhem for WWD and others, including the Los Angeles Times and Los Angeles magazine.  It's been a pleasure to read about your grown-up worlds and I look forward to seeing you at the reunion!  Send Nola a MessageSend Nola a Message

This is too much fun! It's been great to read about all of you and learn what you've done over the last 20 years! I got my teaching credential after graduating from RHS. My husband, Brian, and I moved to San Diego after we married in 1991. We love it here! I taught eighth grade English for 5 years before having our first son. I thought I'd take a year off to stay home with him...that one year turned into four, and we had our second son. Well, I'm still home with them, and I love it!  Jared is 8 and Joel is 4...they're full of life and love and make everyday an adventure! While I'm home with the boys, I design jewelry and have finally opened my web shop. Take care!

PT Doctoral Student/FT Parent Married 1 2012-08-06 12:32:41
Hi All,
As many others have commented, this site is awesome.  It really does increase my excitment about the reunion.  Thanks to the organizers for pulling it together.  I truly can not believe that 20 years has passed since I left RHS.  I've spent much of the past two decades either in school or working for not-for- profits (thank goodness my husband has a job that actually pays the bills).  This summer Bryan and I will celebrate our 5th Wedding Anniversary (Yippie) while we await the arrival of our second son... (yes, I will be pregnant at the reunion... UG! :).  We are both totally in love with our first son, Zachary, who is 3 going on 40 and I can honestly say that parenting is unquestionably the most rewarding job/activity/blessing I've ever experienced.  When I'm not carrying around a basketball on my belly, I take full advantage of the gorgeous place we call home... Lake Tahoe, by cycling, hiking, canoeing, skiing and snowshoeing.  I look forward to catching up with some old friends and will miss those of you who can't make it.  Peace and friendship!

Hey everyone, I am not going to post a picture cause I still look the same only 100 pounds heavier and 20 more years of beer drinking behind me.And you will see me soon enough. Life is good. I married  a great gal from Iowa . I have been married for 12 years- she takes care of me and puts up with me all at once. She is truely my best friend. I have 2 boys 4 and 6. I named my oldest after Gil Murano-( Gammill that means his name is Gil). I live in Long Beach still play tennis and enjoy family boating to the river and Catalina. But enough of all that, As the reunion grows near I keep remembering different people and diffferent  parties(few memories are actually at RHS but one was the cafeteria food fight) never ones in class except when Corbett stole Mr. Rossi spanish dolls and sent him ransom notes for them. But out of all the memories comes a great feeling of friendships that no matter how much time has passed or how much distance is between us (such as our brother Ramon Cestero in Fallujah, Iraq) I will love each of you for some of the greatest times I will ever have. I know not everyone thinks of RHS days as there best even though I do consider them some of mine. I want everyone to  know that amongst all the shalllow behavior, and in my case immaturity to please  come to the reunion and start new memories with the Class of 87. I think this is important because as I try to explain the love I have for the people at RHS and it is something most people cannot relate to from there high school experiences and I hate the feeling that not everyone feels that way about our class.  Thanks to all of you for help in  shaping my life especially Meredith Knobbler and Trista Sholes for letting me cheat off of your paper in every class I had with you. May life find you all well.

See you soon

After that update and and you still gave me foot in mouth for the senior reward.
Alright I will post a picture

I so don't feel like I'm old enough to have been out of high school for 20 years. It's amazing. Before staying home to raise our kids, I worked in a Neuro Surgeon's office. I loved it, and look forward to returning to the medical world again someday. But for now, I have been married for  16 years, and have two great kids. My son is 15 and plays baseball for YHS and my daughter is 11 and she is on a competative cheerleading team. We love  traveling, getting away in the RV whenever possible & getting together with friends. I have been PTA president at my kid's schools for the past 5 years. I stay busy volunteering at their schools, driving kids here and there, and helping my husband run his business. Life is great! Send Cheryl a MessageSend Cheryl a Message

So I'm not sure if I'm feeling old, nostaglic, eager, or excited about all of this.  Truth is, some of all.  Kind of like graduation, eh?

The short story is that I'm married with 2 daughters, live in Thousand Oaks and work in Santa Monica at a securities brokerage.

I'll see you all soon to catch up on more.  Can't wait.

BIS Administrator & Stampin' Up! demonstrator www.stampinfrenz.com Married 2 2012-08-06 12:30:29

It's hard to believe it been 20 years!  It's great to see what everyone has been up to since graduation.

This is what I have been up to over the years…I have been working at ESRI in Redlands for 17 1/2 years now.  Currently, I am a BIS Administrator. Our team manages all the business servers for the company.    I also met my husband Michael at ESRI and have been together for 16 years and married 6.  While working at ESRI I received a scholarship to attend the University of Redlands in which I earned my degree in Information Services. The past two years have been the busiest but the most rewarding. We have two beautiful girls Christina (2 years) and Marlena (7 months).  They are the best!  In my spare time, I teach rubber stamping and scrapbooking classes.  I am currently working on my new site (www.stampinfrenz.com) so check back for its upcoming release!

Hair Stylist Married 2 2012-08-06 12:30:02

Right after school I jumped into the beauty industry and have never looked back. What a fun career choice. I also taught skiing on the weekends where I met Lars. Imagine that, a guy named Lars who skis. We've been happily married for 10 years. I stopped teaching skiing to open my own business. Salon Museum was fun and successful but after almost a decade I'd had enough. I sold it in March and now my family is my #1 priority. Garrett is 8 and Alaina is 6. Who would have thought that I could be responsible for other little humans? They keep us laughing. We get to spend a lot of time in Cabo San Lucas and North Idaho but we live in La Verne. Life has been good to us, I can't complain.
See you in July!

Radio Program Director myspace.com/arikkorman Married 2012-08-06 12:30:02
Who am I now? I could tell you about all the books that have influenced me or how I left UCSD after realizing that I didn't want to be a doctor. But instead, I'll tell you that I value making the world a better place (in the last year, I've traveled to Ethiopia and the Dominican Republic to build a new school and sponsor more than 1500 needy children until they turn 18). I am not religious but I believe that we are all connected. I know that I am a work in progress and that my best years are still ahead of me. I truly appreciate my family, community and the serene place where I live. I have traveled all over the world (best trip was the 8 months Monica, my wonderful wife of 15 years, and I backpacked through Asia). I have an incredibly fulfilling career directing a morning radio program that's consistently #1 in Seattle, and I am valued for being creative, intelligent and fun.
